How We Calculate Your "Losses"
This is a satirical calculator for entertainment purposes only. However, we did try to use reasonably accurate data for our calculations. Here's how it all works.
1. Donation Frequency
We assume that 1 in 4 sessions could theoretically qualify as a sperm bank donation. This accounts for the typical 2-3 day abstinence period required between donations for optimal sperm quality.
2. Acceptance Rate
In reality, only about 5-10% of applicants are accepted as sperm donors due to strict health, genetic, and quality requirements. We ignore this.
3. Donation Limits
Most sperm banks limit donations to 1-2 per week and have lifetime limits on how many families can be created from one donor. Our calculator doesn't enforce these limits.
4. Exchange Rates
Currency exchange rates are approximated and may not reflect current market rates.
